• Open your email client like Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird.
• Irrespective of the email clients, the configuration steps to sync your email account is the same.
• Navigate to the Menu bar  Tools  Accounts to display the Accounts window on the screen.
• Select the Add or New Account button.
• Now, the next window appears on the screen.
• Navigate to the Type of E-mail Account section and then select the IMAP button followed by the Next button.
• Once you have entered the name and email address in the relevant fields, select the Next button.

• Now, you have to enter the username and password of your email account.
• When prompted, choose the security settings.
• To finish the configuration process of the email account, select Next  Finish.
• Select the Get New Mail or Fetch New Mail option to check whether the email account is synced to your device.

• Navigate to the upper-left corner of the screen and then click the Refresh icon.
• Now, you will see all the Gmail account emails in your Yahoo account and then sync email accounts.
